Bromley’s planners have published their report and recommendation on KICC’s proposals for ‘change of use’ of 25 Church Road. The recommendation is for the application to BE REFUSED.
The planning application will now be heard at Plans Sub-Committee No. 4 which starts at 7pm this Thursday 5 March at London Borough of Bromley, Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley BR1 3UH. Details of how to get to the Civic Centre will be published on our website tomorrow evening.
The application is item 4.3 on the agenda. Item 4.2 has been withdrawn.
We need your support at the Planning committee meeting!
Whilst the planning officer’s report is very clear that KICC’s proposals are contrary to planning policy, the final decision lies with the Councillors who sit on the committee.
If you have taken the time to object to KICC’s proposals, it is vitally important that you come along to the planning committee to demonstrate the depth of opposition to the application. Crystal Palace Ward councillors will be speaking at the meeting. They have been working tirelessly responding to residents’ concerns and worries regarding the application. The Crystal Palace Triangle Planning Group will also be speaking against KICC’s proposals.
We hope to see you at the Planning committee meeting on Thursday. Thank you again for your support.
With very best wishes,
Picture Palace Campaign team
Reasons for refusal
The recommendation is strongly supported by Croydon and Lambeth councils, key stakeholders in Crystal Palace District centre – both councils have objected on the same grounds together with Transport for London which objected on transport issues.
